Explosion-proof uninterruptible power source SHGVA-IBP

PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF APPLICATION

Explosion-proof uninterruptible power sources SHGVA-IBP are intended for 12V DC power supply of explosion-proof electrical equipment.

The housing of SHGVA-IBP is made from modified corrosion-resistant aluminum-silicon alloy, resistant to salt spray and other chemical substances. Antistatic polymer epoxy powder coating is used for coating. Coating color is RAL 7035.

Light fixtures with SHGVA-IBP explosion-proof uninterruptible power source may be applied for creation of auxiliary and emergency lighting systems.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The principle of operation is as follows:

Normal mode - there is supply voltage in the mains. In this moment the storage battery is being charged. Power supply to devices (light fixtures, etc.) connected to UPSs is performed from supply voltage through converter 220-12V. Glowing of green indicator (input voltage in case of DC mains) and red indicator (normal power level of storage battery) can be observed on SHGV-IBP.
Emergency mode - no supply voltage in the mains. In this moment the devices (light fixtures, etc.) connected to UPSs are powered by the storage battery. Green LED is off and constant glowing of red indicator (output voltage in case of operation from the storage battery) only can be observed on SHGV-IBP.
K1 relay control circuit is extended to terminals 1; 2, for connection of remote circuit breaker which is individual for each SHGV-IBP. When the circuit breaker is connected, notwithstanding the operation mode, the light fixture is off only after its contact is closed. By default, there is a jumper between terminals 1; 2.
The UPS automatically switches to storage battery powered mode in case of loss of supply voltage.
The UPS automatically switches to mains-fed operation mode in case of restoration of supply voltage.
