PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF APPLICATION

Explosion-proof linear LED light fixtures SGL01-...S are intended for illumination of industrial premises, open production sites and other places, where explosive atmospheres may be present.

The body of light fixtures is made from antistatic impact-resistant glassfiber reinforced polyester with globe made from non-inflammable transparent polycarbonate, which is fastened by stainless steel clamps. That is why explosion-proof LED light fixtures series SGL01...S are resistant to aggressive atmospheres, including hydrogen sulphide vapors, chemically resistant to operating environment and UV radiation. For the purpose of convenience and saving time for lamp replacement, the translucent panel of the explosion-proof light fixture is fastened by latch locks.

Explosion-proof linear LED light fixtures series SGL01...S have feed-through and dead-end connection by means of a wire or a metal hose with wire cross-section up to 6 mm2 (with cable lug) and are additionally completed with cable glands.

Correct functioning of LED light fixture SGL01...S under negative temperatures is confirmed by MTBF tests. Structural features of explosion-proof LED light fixtures SGL01...S and materials used for their manufacturing enable to continuously protect LEDs from the exposure of aggressive chemical substances at the customer‘s sites during the whole period of operation.

Explosion-proof LED light fixtures series SGL01-2480S and SGL01-4960S in IBP version are completed with UPS built in the light fixture body. The period of operation in the emergency mode is 1-1.5 hours with all matrix LEDs emitting light, as in the normal mode.

Manufacturing of explosion-proof LED light fixtures series SGL01 from stainless steel resistant to high temperatures and corrosion is possible.

Scope of application – outdoor and indoor areas hazardous with gas as per explosion protection marking, GOST 30852.13-2002 (IEC 60079-14:1996) and other codes regulating application of electrical equipment in hazardous areas.
