Explosion-proof magnetic reed switch DVG-MV2 (PS-HERCON)PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF APPLICATION

Explosion-proof magnetic reed switches DVG-MV2 are intended for closing/opening electrical circuits when a magnet is at a specified distance. The sensors are manufactured in the enclosure with type of protection "flameproof enclosure" or in intrinsically safe version and they can be applied as a control device as part of the blocking system intended for creation of local and distributed emergency shutdown systems and signalization. Explosion-proof magnetic reed switches DVG-MV2 operate faultlessly even in the harshest conditions, in places with severe pollution, high level of humidity and chemically aggressive atmospheres. The switches are resistant to high switching frequencies. Sensors are actuated contactless by a constant magnet.

Scope of application - hazardous indoor and outdoor areas in accordance with explosion protection marking, GOST 30852.13-2002 (IEC 60079-14:1996), chapters 7.3, 7.4 of Electrical Installation Code (PUE), other regulatory documents which regulate application of electrical equipment in hazardous and non-hazardous areas at dangerous production facilities of I, II, III, IV hazard classes under supervision of Rostekhnadzor and national supervisory bodies of the CIS countries.
