Explosion-proof electric power sources SHGV-IBP are intended for DC power supply of explosion-proof electrical equipment. The power sources are manufactured with rated output voltage 5 V, 12 V, 15 V, 24 V, 36 V, in one-, two-, three- and four channel version with various capacity of storage battery.

Explosion-proof electric power sources SHGV-IBP are manufactured in buffer version, in which the storage battery is constantly connected to the charger being a part of the power source. When the source is connected to the mains supply, power is being supplied to the load and storage battery is being charged simultaneously. In case of power switch-off in the mains supply, the storage battery is discharging ensuring continuous power supply to the load. The source can be fed by mains supply ~220 V or by direct current source 12 V, 24 V or 36 V.

Controllers produced under STAR technology are applied in explosion-proof buffer power sources.

Full production cycle from foundry patterns to finished products is carried out by explosion-proof equipment plant “ZAVOD GORELTEX” Co. Ltd. in the territory of the Russian Federation.

Scope of application – outdoor and indoor hazardous areas as per explosion protection marking, GOST 30852.13-2002 (IEC 60079-14:1996), areas with presence of combustible dust, as per GOST IEC 61241-3-2011.

X sign placed after Ex marking indicates that it is prohibited to use the device in hazardous mixtures of acetylene with air.
