ExdIICU control and indicating elements with metal base of increased strength

Corrosion-resistant aluminum, stainless steel and polyvinylchloride are used for production of control elements, which ensures high resistance to mechanical damage and corrosion. One of the distinct features of explosion-proof products of "ZAVOD GORELTEX" Co. Ltd. (former "CORTEM-GORELTEX" Co. Ltd.) is the ergonomic design of control, indicating and signaling elements. Large size of M series indicating elements enables to work in gloves (which is important when working outdoors at low temperatures). Indicating elements have large diameter (40 mm) and are equipped with reflector, which makes the signal clearly visible at large viewing angle and various degrees of surface dirtiness. A wide range of control, indicating and signaling elements of standard version are offered, a version upon customer’s request can also be produced. The nameplates are manufactured for buttons and signal lamps upon customer‘s request. 

To increase the reliability of actuation of buttons in low current systems with switching of minor current and voltage up to 50 mA (12V...5V, 50 mA...1mA) Ex d e IIC U buttons with gold-plated contacts /ST are used. Buttons with 2 and 4 A rated operating current in low-current version are not manufactured.

Annex 1. General regulations of safety machines and equipment. Clause 15:

«…Controls devices of a machine and (or) equipment must be constructed so that their form, sizes and contact surfaces of the user correspond to a capture way (fingers, hand) or pressing (hand finger, palm, foot)…»

For the equipment intended for operation at ambient temperatures below zero or in aggressive environment, control elements of the equipment must have the increased size, since the user operates the equipment in protective gloves. It is prohibited to use the control elements that do not meet this requirement.

SIGNAL LAMPS, SOLID-STATE INDICATORS

Housings of signal lamps of LGV01... series are manufactured from polyvinyl chloride. Characterized by simple installation. Lamp or LED with BA9s base is installed in the housing of the signal lamp.

OPERATING HANDLES FOR SWITCHES

Operating handles for circuit breakers and switches for installation into explosion-proof enclosures are selected depending on number of poles and type of circuit breaker. Handle’s axle length can be adapted to the type of circuit breaker and an enclosure. Handles can be sealed.

They are also intended for connection of the cable with conductors up to 16 sq. mm. Silver-plated contacts ensure low transient resistance. Steel spring ensures that there will be no problems with contacts in case of wide temperature fluctuations.
