SHORV-NT type explosion-proof stainless steel boxes (flameproof enclosures)PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF APPLICATION

SHORV-NT explosion-proof stainless steel boxes are stationary devices designed to accommodate and operate such electrical components as terminals, control and signaling elements etc. in hazardous areas at the enterprises of food, chemical, oil gas and other industries.

You can configure the product on the base of SHORV-NT enclosure using computer-aided design system GoreltEx or by sending the request to the sales department.

ADVANTAGES
- Resistant to aggressive atmosphere, alkalis, sulphuric and hydrochloric acid.
- High level of protection against dust and moisture IP66, available options: /IP67.
- The enclosure withstands impact up to 20J (IK10).
- Fastening bolts of the cover are countersunk, which ensures their reliable protection against mechanical damage.
- The enclosures have passed the earthquake-resistance tests up to 9 points as per MSK64.
- Wide range of application
- Double-sided electrochemical polishing for the enclosure to look aesthetic.

Type of explosion protection – flameproof enclosure. At the design stage, the enclosure undergoes the mathematic modeling and testing in order to confirm the compliance with the declared explosion protection marking. The “X” sign placed after Ex-marking indicates that it is prohibited to use this equipment in hazardous mixtures of acetylene and air.

Scope of application - indoor and outdoor hazardous areas in accordance with explosion protection marking - category II for gas subgroups IIA, IIB, IIC, zones 1, 2, category III for dust IIIA, IIIB, IIIC, zones 21, 22, category I for firedamp and dust РВ, РП, zones 1, 2, areas non-hazardous with dust and gas
