Explosion-proof manual pull stations IP-535-GORELTEX1-В (CSE-IP-535)PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF APPLICATION

Explosion-proof manual pull station IP-535-GORELTEX1-B is intended for constant all-day operation (possibility to send alarm signals in fire alarm loops when activating the actuating member) in fire alarm and fire suppression systems as a passive element for operation together with receiving and control devices. 

The pull station may be applied as a single element; there is an option of series connection to fire alarm loop of a group of pull stations.

Alarm announcement mode of IP-535-GORELTEX1-B pull station is switched on by pressing the button after pulling out of the protective element. Return of the pull station to initial position (standby mode) is carried out by means of a key. The pull station may be switched to alarm loop with normally closed and normally opened contacts.

IP-535-GORELTEX1-B explosion-proof manual pull stations may be operated in working condition in various climatic areas, they are supplied with various cable glands. The pull station design and its manufacturing technology, as well as highly-reliable switches, intended for multiple switching on and off, ensure failure-free operation during practically endless period of time.

Full production cycle from foundry patterns to finished products is carried out by explosion-proof equipment plant “ZAVOD GORELTEX” Co. Ltd. in the territory of the Russian Federation.

Scope of application – underground mines and pits non-hazardous with gas (methane), coal dust; outdoor and indoor hazardous areas as per explosion protection marking, GOST 30852.13-2002 (IEC 60079-14:1996), areas with presence of combustible dust, as per GOST IEC 61241-3-2011, dangerous production facilities of I, II, III, IV hazard class supervised by Rostechnadzor of the RF and national technical supervision bodies of the Customs Union and CIS countries.

Differences between A class and B class manual pull stations

Differences between A class and B class manual pull stations according to GOST R 53325-2012: A class manual pull station (IP-535-GORELTEX1-A, IP-535-GORELTEX2-A) is activated after displacement of indestructible actuating member, which is followed by change of appearance of the pull station.

B class manual pull station (IP-535-GORELTEX1-B) is activated after completing of two actions:

1. provision of access to actuating member by means of destruction or displacement of actuating member, made as A class actuating member;

2. subsequent manual activation of actuating member.
