Explosion-proof thermostat DVG-TERMOSTAT3 is intended for control of temperature conditions at hazardous facilities and in distribution boards and local control stations.
Depending on the model, the thermostat can be functionally normally open (NO) (e.g., for control of cooling system), or normally closed NC (e.g., for control of heater). Bimetallic thermostat capable of switching load current up to 10A is used as a temperature sensor.
Enclosure of the thermostat is made from aluminum-silicone alloy, body of the temperature sensor is made from fluoropolymer. Low thermal conductivity of fluoropolymer increases speed and accuracy of actuation of the themperature sensor and rules out impact of thermostat‘s enclosure temperature on it.
