PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF APPLICATION

Explosion-proof cable glands KNETN are certified for application in conduit systems with all types of non-armored cables and cables with wire mesh braid (in case when the sealing is made on the outside diameter of cable and wire braid is insulated inside the equipment).

Explosion-proof cable glands of KNETN series are completely new Russian products (Patent No. 155936, rightholder "ZAVOD GORELTEX" Co. Ltd. ), operating characteristics of which significantly surpass Russian and foreign analogues.

Increased wall thickness of bodies of GORELTEX cable glands considerably enhances their strength compared with cable glands of other manufacturers.

Explosion-proof cable glands KNETN are applied in rigid and flexible conduits ensuring explosion-proof sealing of the cable sheath and environmental protection at the same time.

The most important development is the use of one sealing ring for the whole range of diameters of crimped cable, which reliably crimps the incoming cable and ensures Exe type of protection. One sealing ring for the whole diameter of crimped cable makes the mounting of cable into cable gland significantly easier. This excludes error when choosing a right ring to crimp the required cable diameter, which can result in incomplete crimping and subsequent pulling out of cables.

Explosion-proof cable glands KNETN are fully compatible with the equipment with Exe, ExnR, Exia marking. One of the features of explosion-proof cable glands KNETN is male thread. Cable glands are manufactured according to the technology of "ZAVOD GORELTEX" Co. Ltd. .

Scope of application – outdoor and indoor hazardous areas as per explosion protection marking, GOST 30852.13-2002 (IEC 60079-14:1996), dangerous production facilities of I, II, III, IV hazard class supervised by Rostechnadzor of the RF and national technical supervision bodies of the Customs Union and CIS countries.
