PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF APPLICATION

Explosion-proof light fixtures SGL01...L/N made from stainless steel for fluorescent lamps are intended for illumination of industrial premises, open production sites and other places, where explosive atmospheres may be present.

The enclosure is manufactured from stainless steel, while the globe is made from heat- and impact-resistant glass. Lamps, terminals, ballast and socket are installed inside the enclosure.

Explosion-proof fluorescent light fixtures series SGL01...S have feed-through and dead-end connection by means of a wire or a metal hose with wire cross-section 0.5-1.0 mm2 and are additionally completed with cable glands.

Manufacturing of explosion-proof LED light fixtures series SGL01 from antistatic impact-resistant glassfiber reinforced polyester chemically resistant to operating environments and UV radiation is possible.

Optionally, emergency power supply source with Ni-Cd storage battery for emergency lighting is built in the light fixture. When switching to the emergency mode, only one lamps emits light. Period of operation in emergency mode – 120 minutes, charge time - 24 hours.

Scope of application – outdoor and indoor areas hazardous with gas as per explosion protection marking, GOST 30852.13-2002 (IEC 60079-14:1996) and other codes regulating application of electrical equipment in hazardous areas.
