Explosion-proof control units for lifting mechanisms PKIV-UPM, PKIVA-UPMPURPOSE AND SCOPE OF APPLICATION Новая усиленная конструкция, без изменения весо-габаритных параметров оболочек, позволила расширить область применения оборудования для подгруппы IIC.

Explosion-proof control units for lifting mechanisms PKIV-UPM, PKIVA-UPM are intended for remote control of cranes, overhead cranes, telphers, gantry cranes, lifting platforms, industrial hoists and other lifting mechanisms used in chemical, gas, oil and other branches of industry in areas with potentially hazardous atmosphere.

Explosion-proof control units PKIV-UPM, PKIVA-UPM are produced on the base of the enclosures PKIVA211108, PKIV311109, PKIV411109, made from modified corrosion-resistant aluminum-silicon alloy resistant to salt spray and other chemical substances. Antistatic polymer-epoxy powder coating. Color RAL 7035. Painting color can be changed upon customer‘s request: option yellow /RAL 1003; option black /RAL 9004; option combination /KRYSHKA RAL 1003 / KORPUS RAL 9004.

Explosion-proof control units PKIV-UPM, PKIVA-UPM are equipped with buttons which switch direction of lifting mechanism‘s movement. Buttons for opposite action (up-down, left-right) have marking plates of different color (black-white). Buttons can have  plates with description of movement direction (option /NADPIS "...") upon customer‘s request.

Depending on standard configuration, explosion-proof control units PKIV-UPM, PKIVA-UPM are equipped with button with key, switch, start button and emergency stop button. All buttons and switches have a marking plates with description of their purpose. Large size of control elements enables work in gloves (which is important during outdoor works at low temperatures).

Explosion-proof control units PKIV-UPM, PKIVA-UPM have two types of mounting:
• Stationary wall mounting (mounting by means of a standard mounting plates), a cable gland and a grounding bolt are located at the top of the enclosure.
• Moving suspension mounting option (/PODVES), control unit is suspended on a cable with length XX mm. A special bracket is provided on the enclosure wall at the side of cable gland arrangement for fixation of the control unit to the cable; a cable gland and a grounding bolt are located at the top of the enclosure.
Option /RUCHKI is available for convenience of work with the control unit.

Full production cycle starting from casting molds and to ready product is performed at the explosion-proof equipment plant “ZAVOD GORELTEX” Co. Ltd. on the territory of the Russian Federation.

Sign "Х", placed after Ex-marking of the device indicates that it is prohibited to use the device in explosive mixtures of acetylene with air.

Scope of application - hazardous indoor and outdoor areas in accordance with explosion protection marking, GOST 30852.13-2002 (IEC 60079-14:1996) and areas hazardous with combustible dust ignition, as per GOST IEC 61241-3-2011, dangerous production facilities of I, II, III, IV hazard classes under supervision of Rostekhnadzor and national supervisory bodies of the CU and the CIS countries.
