Explosion-proof multi-button local control stations and indicating devices PKIV in Exd version are intended for local or remote control of equipment and/or signalization. Local control stations are used in chemical, pharmaceutical, oil industry and where explosion-proof equipment is required.
Local control stations accomodate six control and indicating elements. Version PKIV281813 with window is intended for installation of a visual instrument and for control and indication elements.
The products are highly resistant to hydrogen sulphide which is confirmed by TR CU certificates. Service life of flameproof joints of Exd explosion-proof enclosures is more than 25 years.
One of the distinctive features of explosion-proof equipment produced by "ZAVOD GORELTEX" Co. Ltd. is ergonomic design of control, indicating and signaling elements. Large size of control elements makes it possiple to work in gloves (which is important for outdoor operation at low temperatures). Indicating elements have large diameter (40 mm) and are equipped with reflector, which makes the signal clearly visible at large viewing angle and various degrees of surface dirtiness. A wide range of control, indicating and signaling elements of standard version are offered, a version upon customer’s request can also be produced.

For the equipment intended for operation at ambient temperatures below zero or in aggressive environment, control elements of the equipment must be of larger size, since the user operates the equipment in protective gloves. It is prohibited to use the control elements that do not meet this requirement.
Each individual product undergoes thorough acceptance in accordance with accurate quality control plan GOST R ISO 9001-2015 (ISO 9001:2015). Compliance with norms and technical specifications of the customer is verified in accordance with special procedure. inspections are carried out stepwise throughout the entire production cycle. Local control stations are produced according to the latest European and Russian technology, and their price can compete even with outdated samples produced in Russia.
Full production cycle starting from casting molds and to ready product is performed at the explosion-proof equipment plant “ZAVOD GORELTEX” Co. Ltd. on the territory of the Russian Federation.
Scope of application - hazardous indoor and outdoor areas in accordance with explosion protection marking, GOST 30852.13-2002 (IEC 60079-14:1996) and areas hazardous with combustible dust ignition, as per GOST IEC 61241-3-2011, dangerous production facilities of I, II, III, IV hazard classes under supervision of Rostekhnadzor and national supervisory bodies of the CU and the CIS countries.
"X" sign place after Ex-marking indicates that it is prohibited to use the device in hazardous mixtures of acetylene and air.

Corrosion-resistant aluminum, stainless steel and polyvinylchloride are used for production of control elements, which ensures high resistance to mechanical damage and corrosion. A wide range of control, indicating and signaling elements of standard version are offered, a version upon customer’s request can also be produced. The nameplates are manufactured for buttons and signal lamps upon customer‘s request.
To increase the reliability of actuation of buttons in low current systems with switching of minor current and voltage up to 50 mA (12V...5V, 50 mA...1mA) Ex d e IIC U buttons with gold-plated contacts /ST are used. Buttons with 2 and 4 A rated operating current in low-current version are not manufactured.

Screw plugs are supplied by order. The plug is intended for switching of internal circuits of a local control station when mounting and dismantling the cover with control elements. They are also intended for connection of the cable with conductors up to 16 sq. mm. Silver-plated contacts ensure low transient resistance. Steel spring ensures that there will be no problems with contacts in case of wide temperature fluctuations.
